Dr. Oz recently sat down with Diane Sawyer for a special interview. The famous doctor talked about Oprah's thyroid problem and what he learned from the talk show queen over the years. In today's repeat episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show, actress Merideth Baxter shared her story of marital abuse and alcoholism. Merideth Baxter is famous for her role as Keaton mom the hit 80's show "Family Ties." The star made headlines when she was outed as a lebian five years ago. Since then she has become comfortable being open about her sexuality. 

Meredith Baxter wrote about her life in her book Untied: A Memoir of Family, Fame, and Floundering. Former co-star Michael Gross appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to show his support of Merideth Baxter and Michael J. Fox also sent a supportive message to the actress via video.
