Whoopi Goldberg on The Oprah Show - The 2011 Interview

Today's Oprah was a repeat episode featuring Whoopi Goldberg and the cast of The Color Purple. Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg became friends while filming the Color Purple movie, but stopped speaking shortly aftwards. For years each one of the women thought the other person was upset with them. They both hear rumors about their "feud" and wondered what they had done wrong?

It turned out that neither Whoopi Goldberg or Oprah Winfrey were ever mad at each other. The two finally had a chance to talk when they ran into each other at Tyler Perry's home. Oprah now advises people who suspect a friend is mad at them to call the person and talk about it. Whoopi and Oprah are finally friends once again.

Today's Wednesday 23, 2011 Oprah Winfrey Show was a repeat episode featuring actress Goldie Hawn.

The 65-year-old actress is not having a problem with aging. She loves being a mother and grandmother and has been in a committed relationship with actor Kurt Russel for over 25 years.

Elizabeth Taylor Dies at 79 - Taylor's Interview With Oprah Winfrey

I was very sad to hear that legendary Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor died this morning, Wednesday, March 23 2011. The beautiful actress died of congestive heart failure, a condition that she had been diagnosed with in 2004. 

I thought I would post a couple of Elizabeth Taylor interview clips today, including a piece from an old Oprah Winfrey interview. The star was passionate about helping those with AIDS  and Elizabeth Taylor's family has asked fans to donate to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation rather than sending flowers.
