The legendary singer Diana Ross appeared on today's Oprah Winfrey Show and had Oprah in tears with her beautiful singing performance. Oprah Winfrey talked to Diana Ross about how she was an inspiration to young African American girls in the sixties, including herself.

Diana Ross introduced her children and grandchildren to Oprah's audience and performed two amazing songs during the show. Iyanla Vanzant Back On The Oprah Show - The Emotional Interview

At one time Iyanla Vanzant was a regular guest expert on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah Winfrey Show viewers loved Vanzant's bold relationship advice, and the author found enormous success during season twelve of the Oprah show. She appeared on the show twenty times during during a year and half time period. During the height of her success Iyanla Vanzant got an offer from Barbara Walters to start a new talk show.

At the time Harpo studios was planning on developing shows for Iyanla Vanzant and other expert guest Dr. Phil. After days of fasting, Iyanla Vanzant met with Oprah and a Harpo executive to tell them that she was thinking about taking the other offer. She soon received a letter from Harpo Studios releasing her from her regular appearances.

Iyanla Vanzant managed to get her own show a year later, but told Oprah that she accepted poor treatment from show producers. As the host of her own show she did not even have her own office and was advised to change her hair. When the show was canceled Iyanla Vanzant was left with no further show prospects.
