The highest paid porn star in history Jenna Jameson appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about her sexual lifestyle and her two children.
Jenna Jameson became so popular in the adult entertainment industry that she was able to get plenty of mainstream work on television shows and movies. She even wrote a bestselling book "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale."
There are many unhappy Oprah viewers who did not appreciate an Oprah Show dedicated to the topic of pornography. Some viewers felt sorry for Jenna Jameson while others felt disgusted. Some felt that by doing the show Oprah was somehow promoting pornography.
After reading an excerpt and reviews of Jenna's book "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale" it's obvious that she was deeply affected by having too much freedom as a child.
She says in the book,
"I was always secretly jealous of my friends, who had to change in the car because their fathers didn't want their baby girls leaving the house dressed like a slut. Since I was four, my father had been letting me run wild in the streets, but the freedom had come with a price: security."
The book reveals some of the details of Jenna's difficult childhood which included the death of her mother as a young child and her father's neglect.
Oprah Winfrey tries to do shows that will teach or enlighten her audience. But when it comes to the subject of porn maybe we'd be better off sticking to Dr. Phil's view that the woman in the adult film industry just shouldn't be there, after all they are someones daughter, sister, or mother.
