Denise Richard and Haggards On Today's Oprah

Today's January 26, 2010 Oprah Winfrey Show was supposed to be about overcoming "embarrassing scandals" but the guests featured on the show revealed very little information which left me thinking "What's the point of these interviews?"

Denise Richards avoided answering Oprah's questions regarding her ex-husband Charlie Sheen and kept repeating herself that her whole life is about her two girls.

It seemed that Denise Richards wanted to show everyone what a fabulous mom she was, and perhaps she is, but at the end of the interview viewers didn't know any more about Denise Richards or Charlie Sheen than they did beforehand.

Gayle Haggard Talks About Staying With Her Husband

The second guest on the show was Gayle Haggard, the wife of former evangelist Ted Haggard. Ted Haggard has appeared on the Oprah show before where he admitted to having homosexual experiences and thoughts.

Gayle Haggard has written a book about her odd situation titled "Why I Stayed: The Choices I Made In My Darkest Hour." Ted Haggard joined his wife Gayle and Oprah to talk about his wife's great love for him.

Even though Ted Haggard said that he considered himself to be a heterosexual with homosexual attachments on his last Oprah appearance, he now says that he no longer battles with homosexual thoughts.

You could tell by the look on Oprah's face that she could not believe that Gayle Haggard would forgive her husband so easily, and I'm pretty sure that just about everyone watching the interview couldn't believe it either. If you missed today's Oprah Winfrey Show consider yourself lucky.
