On Tuesday, October 13, 2009 the Oprah Show featured the latest news on the Jaycee Lee Dugard case. "Jaycee Lee Dugard" who was kidnapped in 1991 and held captive for 18 years has now been reunited with her family.
Police Officer "Allison Jacobs" and Police Specialist "Lisa Campbell" were guests on the Oprah Show. Jacobs and Campbell are employees at the University of California Berkeley campus and spoke about how "intuition" helped them to crack the case and bring Jaycee Lee Dugard home at last.
Police believe that Jaycee Lee's kidnapper Philip Garrido may have had something to do with another child who was kidnapped from a neigborhood store in 1988. Michaela Garecht's family are hoping that just as Jaycee Dugard was reunited with her family, they will see Michaela once again.
If you have any information about Michaela Garecht or another missing child call 1-800-THE-LOST or visit the website for the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children.
This Friday, October 16, 2009 Jaycee Lee Dugard's first interview since she's arrived home will be featured in "People Magazine" and recent photographs of Jaycee and her family will be included.
