Monday's July 6, 2009 Oprah Winfrey Show was a summer rerun of the beginning of Oprah's Best Life Series.
In the opening of the Best Life Series Oprah made a video segment explaining her weight gain and continuing struggles with weight.
You can view Oprah's weight gain confession on YouTube.com. In Oprah's confession she talks about her thyroid condition, using food as a drug, and how she feels her weight gain is connected to being out of balance.
Oprah Winfrey says she is now scheduling "herself" into her daily routine which consists of mainly work and very little play or time for herself.
