Elizabeth Edwards Oprah Show Interview - Video Clip and Book

Elizabeth Edwards let Oprah Winfrey come into her home for a revealing interview which focused on her husband John Edwards affair with another woman.

Elizabeth Edwards even told Oprah how the affair began with the mistress approaching John on the way into a hotel telling him that she thought " he was hot."

In her book "Resilience: Reflections on the Burdens and Gifts of Facing Life's Adversities" Elizabeth Edwards writes about the loss of her oldest so who died in a tragic accident, her battle with breast cancer, and dealing with her husband John's public affair.

I have just finished watching the above interview which aired in South Africa today (3 Sept. 2009). What a beautiful woman from the inside to the outside. I just loved her . I am seeing so many similarities. My daughter had been married for 17 years, 3 beautiful children, and he had an affair. It started end of 2006. They didn't stay together though, although she did try. But in the end, everything worked out beyond imagination (there is a definite punchline in the end of the story) and somehow we had to go through this to get to where we are now.
