Today's Oprah Winfrey Show featured some great environmental friendly tips for Earth Day. I had no idea that plastic bags were creating such a huge environmental hazard not to mention all of the other plastic garbage that ends up in the ocean.
Throughout
the show there were a few disturbing graphic pictures shown to
illustrate the extent of the massive amounts of waste that people are
creating.
Oprah's Earth Day guests shed some light on the reality of where all of our trash goes and how when we pour chemicals down the drain they harm the environment and eventually they will harm us.
Even Small Changes Can Help
After seeing today's show I am definitely going to switch to Reusable Shopping Bags
Not only will making green changes like giving up paper towels and chemical cleaners help the environment but it can also save you money.
