Nadya Suleman, the mother of fourteen children including newborn octuplets has captured the media's attention and raised questions regarding the responsibility of fertility specialists and the women who receive fertility treatment.
The world was excited to hear of the birth of eight babies and curious to find out more about the mother and father. Days after the octuplets were born facts about Nadya Suleman's lifestyle began to come out and the public became outraged upon finding out that she had no way to support her children. The media began to dig even deeper to find out more about Nadya Suleman and her past.
Suleman who received fertility treatment even though she already had six children at home and fed them with a monthly government food stamp allowance.
The father of the 14 children who Suleman refers to as "a friend" is not currently planning on being in the children's lives and is not offering support. Nadia Suleman said during an interview with "The Today Show" that the reason she chose to become a single mother of a large family was because it meets her emotional needs.
Nadya Suleman and her six children live with her mother Angela Suleman in a cramped home, Nadya's mother filed for bankruptcy a few years ago losing the home they lived in at the time, and their current home is also close to foreclosure due to an unpaid mortgage.
The media published older photographs of Nadya Suleman with a much different looking nose and thinner lips. It looks as though Suleman who cannot afford to pay her mother for housing or food for her children somehow managed to pay for plastic surgery.
Her current facial features look much like that of celebrity Angelina Jolie but according to Suleman she isn't a fan of any celebrity. The public has been questioning Suleman's decision making abilities and mental stability and wondering whether or not she will be able to raise 14 children.
Nadya's mother Angela Suleman has already stated publicly that she is upset with her daughter's choices. Now, in his first ever television interview, Nadya Suleman's father, Ed Doud will be appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about his daughter's decisions and about being a grandfather to octuplets.
