Oprah Winfrey kicked offer her "Best Life Week" on Monday January 5, 2009 by sharing her weight gain experiences with the world. Oprah's weight gain confession was very personal and she spoke about how her emotional issues including feeling overwhelmed led to her 40 pound weight gain starting in February of 2007.
Oprah Winfrey says she's "hungry for balance" in her life and to do something other than just work. She also talked about how she felt completely defeated by her thyroid problem.
Bob Greene was Oprah Winfrey's special guest on Monday, as always he's there to give insight to Oprah and inspire her with his tips. Bob Greene said that an emotional weight problem is not something you just beat but something you have to manage for the rest of your life.
Bob Greene is the author of the book "The Best Life Diet Revised and Updated." I own the book and I think it's fantastic. Greene is one of the most down to earth and inspiring people out there and he offers good solid advice that makes sense.
On Tuesday January 6, 2009 Dr. Oz appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about getting healthy.
