On today's Oprah show Oprah shared her enthusiasm for the Kindle: Amazon's Wireless Reading Device. Oprah's so excited about this electronic book device (she calls the Kindle her favorite gadget) that she gave everyone in her audience a free Kindle. Not wanting to leave out the audience watching at home she and Jeffrey Bezos, the creator of the Amazon Kindle, are offering a special deal of $50.00 off of the Kindle for one week.
Thousands of books, newspapers, blogs, and magazines can be downloaded on to the Kindle which is a portable high tech electronic book. You can read all of your favorite novels after dowloading them and you don't need to have a computer to run your Amazon Kindle as it works on its own.
The Amazon Kindle may not be a cheap device but you will end up saving a lot of money in the long run because books can be downloaded at half price. Once you've purchased a book it's yours to keep even if you lose your Amazon Kindle. Not only is Oprah's new favorite gadget convenient but it also reduces paper waste which helps the environment.
