Last spring Oprah Winfrey held a special live webcast class "A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose."

Author of A New Earth "Eckhart Tolle" and Oprah talk to webcast viewers as they discuss the book in depth.

In this first "A New Earth" webcast Eckhart Tolle and Oprah talk about creativity, discovering out greater purpose, and what "life wants" from "our life."

Although I bought the book nearly a year ago I've yet to read it, and I also missed last year's webcast series. After watching the first chapter's discussion it's definitely peaked my interest.

Oprah Winfrey's Lifetime Achievement Award

I was browsing through some older Oprah Winfrey video clips when I stumbled upon the video of Oprah receiving "The Lifetime Achievement Award" in 1998.

Her acceptance speech is phenomenal and now in 2010 with her show set to end soon she continues along the same path, asking herself what can she do to help people live a better life.

It's amazing that after all of these years she still has her partner Stedman Graham and best friend Gayle King by her side. It's obvious that Oprah is a friend for life!
